General Application of a large Wall Sticker
STEP 1: Put the sticker in the desired position on the wall and hold in place with masking tape at the top with two vertical strips and also apply a centre hinge with masking tape as well.
STEP 2: Remove the two top masking tape strips and peel off the top layer (application tape) toward yourself removing the sticker from the backing paper making sure the sticker lifts cleanly from the backing.
STEP 3: Cut the backing paper off just leaving the application paper and the sticker, prevent the sticker from touching the wall at this stage.
STEP 4: Now apply the sticker to the wall using the squeegee at a 45 degree angle pushing the air out as you go.
STEP 5: As the top half of the sticker has now been applied remove the centre masking tape and apply the bottom half in the same way as you did the top.
STEP 6: Rub over the whole sticker firmly to make sure it’s stuck to the wall well.
STEP 7: Slowly peel back the top layer (application tape) at a 180 degree angle back on itself making sure the sticker stays on the wall, if the sticker comes away re-squeegee the sticker.
STEP 8: Stand back and enjoy your new wall sticker.
How to install a Wall Graphic?
Layout of your mural
Unroll the wallpaper and separate the tiles. Identify each panel and arrange in the hanging order on the floor. Each tile is numbered at the bottom left.
IMPORTANT: Layout panels to check image match before installation. If you notice any inconsistencies within the print please do not install.
Overlap the wallpaper
When hanging multiple tiles, your mural is printed with 10 ml overlap. Visually match the image at the join and smooth out. Adjust the position until the pattern completely matches.
IMPORTANT: Use the seam roller or a squeegee to ensure the product is well bonded at the join.
Hang the first panel
Ensure the first panel is hung straight. This is vital for successful installation of your mural. Please make sure the first tile is hung, and carefully smooth away any bubbles or ripple using a soft brush or squeegee.
IMPORTANT: Do not pull or stretch the material during installation. Work from the top and allow the wallpaper to fall naturally to avoid scratches.
Repeat until finished
Continue the previous stages of each tile until all panels are installed. Trim away any excess wallpaper using straight edge and sharp blade. Sit back and enjoy your hard work.
IMPORTANT: Be careful while handling the excess wallpaper.
